We are looking for a compliance professional
We are looking for committed, honest and enterprising compliance professionals. Professionals who want to develop services and give customers the added value they expect. Professionals who want to continue to develop and who never stand still.
We do not offer customers products but an added value and help them to organize and operationalize these. The company must, for example, be able to protect its trade secrets or personal data through your input and be able to demonstrate that this protection has been effective. You help the company move on a growth path and guide the company at a pace that is possible.
We are careful with our customers so we don’t just let you loose on a customer. We expect you to learn more about our philosophy about trust networks and the trust sharing of company and personal data, as well as the trust services and applications.
You will have the opportunity to complete thirty training courses at the Duthler Academy and to pass the exams with a positive result. During the training program you carry out work under supervision. At some point you will be able to develop, maintain and teach training yourself.
An important pillar of our philosophy is that we are socially driven to securely share data from citizens and companies with each other and to be accountable for this. We therefore challenge you – and expect the same from you – to think along about new views and working methods. To help move towards a data-friendly world.
Customers call on you as a compliance professional when they realize that compliance can be organized better, faster and cheaper.
You will also be called upon if you draw up a guiding report based on research. This concerns, for example, conducting an assessment of the current method of data protection, the effective operation of security measures or accountability for this.
The compliance professionals follow the training programs at the Duthler Academy, after which you maintain your knowledge. You will also provide training programs to colleagues and customers.
Which candidate are we looking for?
- HBO or academic education with a specialization in economics, public administration, accountancy, IT Auditing or ICT;
- Analytical skills with an eye for detail;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Accurate and precise.
- Professional, able to communicate with clients;
- Empathy for situations with customers;
- Excellent command of the Dutch and English language, both orally and in writing;
- Personal responsibility and strong work ethic;
- Sharp eye for spotting needs;
- Positive, “can do”.
What do we offer?
An inspiring and personal working environment with enthusiastic colleagues and excellent employment conditions. You get the space to be creative in your work, but within the agreed frameworks. You are challenged to improve the service and to come up with ideas for this. Sometimes you will have to take a step outside your field, you have to dare to do that.
You have access to training opportunities at Duthler Academy and we expect you to be involved in transferring knowledge to customers and colleagues. We agree on a development process with you, help you achieve the goals and we regularly evaluate the results and make adjustments if necessary.
Does the position appeal to you and do you want more information? Please contact Caroline Willemse. You can also apply directly by sending your motivation letter and CV to Caroline. We will then let you know quickly whether you have been selected for the first introductory meeting.
The selection procedure is as follows. You will receive two introductory meetings. In the first meeting you will be introduced to an HR employee (and sometimes also to the manager). In the second interview, you speak to the manager and a colleague. If these two conversations have been positive from both sides, you will be invited for an assessment. You will always receive feedback from the assessment, possibly followed by a final interview in which we will make you an offer to work for us.
